Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Danielle Kennedy, PMHNP-BC — a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 11 years of experience in mental health care. I specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and schizophrenia, as well as other DSM-5 mental health disorders.

My background includes working in diverse settings such as inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, residential treatment programs, and telehealth platforms. These experiences have helped me develop a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based approach to care that is grounded in empathy and collaboration.

I treat patients across the lifespan, from adolescents to older adults, and believe that healing starts with listening. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take control of your mental health journey.

I currently offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to ensure flexible access to care that fits your needs.

If you're looking for a provider who will partner with you to explore treatment options that work best for your life — whether that includes medication management, lifestyle strategies, or diagnostic clarity — I’d be honored to support you.

My approach to therapy

I believe in meeting people where they are — emotionally, culturally, and logistically. That’s why I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments, making it easier for clients to access high-quality mental health care in a way that fits their lives.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based. I take the time to understand each person’s unique story, challenges, and goals before developing a personalized treatment plan. This may include medication management, lifestyle support, and brief therapeutic techniques to support long-term well-being.

I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and other DSM-5 mental health conditions. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults. Whether you're navigating a new diagnosis, managing long-standing concerns, or seeking a second opinion, I strive to deliver care that is trauma-informed, empathetic, and respectful of your journey.

Above all, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they feel truly heard and understood. My sessions are structured to create consistency while remaining flexible enough to adapt to your most urgent concerns. We’ll work together to address what’s weighing on you now while also building toward your long-term mental health goals.

During our time together, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of your diagnosis, treatment options, and actionable strategies to manage symptoms in your daily life. Whether we’re discussing medication, exploring coping tools, or simply talking through life’s challenges, my goal is to offer guidance, clarity, and hope.

Over time, many clients experience meaningful improvements in mood, focus, emotional regulation, and overall confidence—along with a stronger sense of control and empowerment in their mental health journey.
