Great to meet you!

As a dually licensed LPC and LMHC, I view the therapeutic process as a shared journey of discovery. With 6 years of experience spanning the full developmental spectrum—from the playful energy of children and teens to the seasoned wisdom of our elders—I specialize in meeting people exactly where they are. My practice is built on honoring diversity in all its forms, ensuring that every individual, duo, or group feels seen in their unique self-image.

My approach to therapy

I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to healing. My work is eclectic and tailored to your specific history and presenting needs:

  • For Addiction & Habit Change: I utilize Motivational Interviewing and the Transtheoretical Model (Stages of Change) to meet you where you are in your readiness for transformation.
  • For Healing Trauma: I draw from specialized Trauma-Informed Care and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help provide tools for stabilization and processing.
  • For Children: I utilize Play Therapy and storytelling, requiring a guardian to be present for the first session to ensure a collaborative foundation for the "kiddos."

What you can expect from me

Safety, Privacy, and HIPAA Boundaries

Your safety is my priority, which is why I adhere strictly to professional ethics and technology standards:

  • The "Public" Boundary: If we see each other in public, please know that I will not initiate a greeting. This isn't a lack of warmth—it is a HIPAA protection to ensure your privacy. You are always welcome to say "hi" first, but if I remain silent, it is only to protect your confidentiality.
  • Administrative Diligence: I encourage you to thoroughly read all forms on this site regarding technology use, clinical laws, and privacy practices. Understanding these boundaries ensures our space remains safe and confidential.
  • Communication: Messaging within this platform is safe and highly encouraged. I review all communications to stay present with your journey.
