Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Danielle Mars.

I was born and raised in the Blackbelt of Alabama, and my roots here have deeply influenced my commitment to supporting the community. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master of Social Work from Alabama A & M University and a Master of Education in Community Counseling from Auburn Montgomery, I bring both clinical expertise and a passion for advocacy to my practice.

My background is rooted in trauma-informed care, with extensive experience serving individuals and families navigating complex systems, including those affected by domestic violence and mental health challenges. Whether you are facing grief, work-related stress, divorce, or general life transitions, I am here to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is deeply collaborative and trauma-informed. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel empowered to explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and develop actionable strategies to navigate life’s hurdles. My goal is to work with you - not just on you - to foster resilience and help you find a sense of balance and ease in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect therapy to be a supportive partnership where your voice and goals remain at the center of our work. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what's bringing you to therapy, and creating a plan that feels meaningful and achievable. I strive to foster a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being yourself, asking questions, and celebrating progress along the way. Healing isn't about having all the answers overnight - it's about taking consistent steps toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. Whenever you're ready, I'd be honored to support you on that journey.
