Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Danielle McQuay, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience in child welfare and crisis intervention, working with children, families, and underserved communities involved with the Department of Children and Families. I have provided mental health support, crisis intervention, and advocacy to individuals navigating complex life challenges. My experience also includes working with senior citizens in hospital settings, offering emotional support and care coordination.

I look forward to walking alongside you on your path to healing and personal transformation.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered, collaborative, and compassionate approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. I specialize in solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral techniques, helping you identify unhelpful patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and achieve meaningful growth. My style is empathetic, non-judgmental, and empowering, creating a safe space for self-exploration and healing. I am passionate about helping individuals build self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, and create lasting, positive change.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to actively engage in your growth process, including “homework” and self-reflection exercises to promote continued progress between sessions. My goal is to help you invest the same energy and dedication into yourself that you’ve given to your family, education, and career. Through our work, you’ll gain greater insight into your challenges, build emotional resilience, and develop the skills needed to create meaningful change. Ultimately, you’ll move toward a life of abundance, fulfillment, and deeper connection with yourself and your community.
