Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist in New York and the founder of Narrative Mind Therapy and Consultation Services. Previously, I served as Director of Athletics Mental Health Services at Stony Brook University, where I built the department’s first comprehensive mental health program for student-athletes. I've also led university-wide prevention and outreach programs focused on suicide prevention, substance use, and wellness education, while creating inclusive spaces for diverse and international students.

Earlier in my career, I worked extensively in early psychosis treatment at Zucker Hillside Hospital's OnTrackNY program and contributed to launching the first IOP for young adults at the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT. My work has consistently centered on promoting mental health access and empowering young people to take ownership of their stories.

My approach to therapy

My style is collaborative, empowering, and rooted in authenticity. I draw from a range of evidence-based practices including narrative therapy, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive, strength-based approaches. I also integrate wellness and somatic awareness as essential components of mental health.

With over 15 years of experience working with emerging adults across college campuses, athletics departments, and community-based mental health programs, I understand the unique challenges of this life stage. From performance pressure and anxiety to identity exploration and trauma recovery, I offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore your story and begin writing the next chapter.

What you can expect from me

You are the author of your story. Your past does not define your future. I believe in the transformative power of self-awareness, intentional living, and the reclaiming of our personal narratives. Whether you are navigating the stressors of early adulthood, healing from trauma, or facing challenges in identity and life direction, I’m here to help you reconnect with your strengths, clarify your values, and take steps toward meaningful change, health and success.
