Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Danielle, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, relationship and family challenges, grief, work and academic stress, and low self-esteem. In session, I’m warm and direct, bringing in a little humor when it’s helpful. I offer both practical tools and attentive listening as you process all the things you’ve been carrying.

After earning a BBA in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati, I spent nearly eight years in the corporate world before moving into counseling. That experience helped shape how I understand work stress, burnout, and major career transitions. I went on to earn a BA in Psychology from Georgia State University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern. I’m certified in DBT and hold the National Certified Counselor credential through the NBCC.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship. Trust takes time, so we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest without feeling rushed or judged. Together, we’ll explore what keeps you stuck and reconnect with the parts of you that have felt lost along the way.

Drawing primarily from DBT, CBT, and Attachment Theory, I tailor treatment to your strengths, needs, and goals. We’ll build practical coping skills, strengthen your relationships and boundaries, and work toward a sense of self-worth that doesn’t depend on achievement or others’ approval. Whatever life throws your way, I offer a space where we can sit with the hard feelings and also celebrate your wins.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll go over informed consent so you know what to expect, explore what brings you to therapy, and talk through which approaches fit your goals. This session is about laying a foundation, so there’s no pressure to dive into anything right away. From there, we’ll build trust gradually and explore at your pace. Over time, our sessions will blend talk therapy and evidence-based skill building within a flexible structure that leaves room for whatever feels most pressing that week.
