Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Dr. Danielle Moore, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Behavioral Specialist offering online therapy for children, teens, adults, and families across Pennsylvania.

Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Parents come to me worried about their child’s anxiety, behavior, or emotional regulation. Teens and adults often arrive feeling misunderstood, burned out, or unsure why things feel harder for them than for others. My goal is to create a space where you do not have to explain or justify your experience, where we slow things down and figure it out together.

I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional regulation difficulties, and family stress. My approach is practical, compassionate, and individualized. I focus on helping clients understand what is happening in their nervous system, build skills that actually work in daily life, and feel more grounded and confident over time.

I bring experience from homes, schools, and community settings, which means I understand how challenges show up outside the therapy hour. Therapy with me is collaborative and supportive, not rigid or one size fits all.

I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. In addition to my clinical work, I supervise clinicians and provide professional training, but my priority is always the person in front of me and what they need in this moment.

If you are looking for a therapist who is warm, direct, and deeply attuned to neurodiversity and real life stressors, I would be honored to work with you. Telehealth sessions are available and designed to fit into your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and grounded in real life. I believe healing happens best in a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. Whether we meet in person or through telehealth, my goal is to create an environment where you do not have to perform, explain, or minimize your experience.

I integrate evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment focused work, person centered strategies, and nervous system regulation. Rather than relying on one model, I tailor our work to what actually helps you feel more regulated, connected, and capable in your day to day life. Many clients find it helpful to understand what is happening in their body and nervous system, not just their thoughts.

Our work is collaborative. You are the expert on your life, and I bring clinical knowledge, structure, and support. Together we focus on building trust, increasing emotional regulation, and developing practical tools that make things feel more manageable outside of session.

With experience across homes, schools, and community settings, I take time to understand the full context of your life, not just the symptoms that brought you to therapy. My goal is not quick fixes, but meaningful, sustainable change that supports your long term wellbeing.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a space that feels calm, supportive, and grounded. We will move at a pace that feels manageable, focusing on what is most important for you in that moment. You do not need to have the right words or know exactly what you want to work on when you arrive.

Over time, clients often leave sessions with a clearer understanding of their emotions, patterns, and nervous system responses, along with practical tools they can use between sessions. We will work together to set realistic goals that fit your life, whether that involves managing anxiety, improving relationships, supporting neurodivergent needs, or building more effective coping strategies.

Sessions are collaborative and responsive. I pay close attention to what is happening for you emotionally and physically, not just what you are saying. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported while also gaining insight and skills that translate into daily life.

Ultimately, many clients experience greater self awareness, increased emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of confidence in navigating life’s challenges. Therapy is not about fixing you, but about helping you feel more steady, capable, and connected as you move forward.
