Great to meet you!

I am a California-licensed psychologist with over 20 years of professional experience. I received my doctoral degree in psychology and completed postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology. I am a board-certified behavior analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D) and have been providing telehealth services for over eight years. I am fluent in English and Portuguese.

I work especially well with thoughtful adults who are feeling overwhelmed, going through life transitions, carrying a lot of responsibility, or feeling stuck despite functioning well on the outside. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, grief, relationship difficulties, caregiver stress, and other challenges that can make life feel harder than it needs to be.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be tailored to the person rather than expecting the person to fit a particular approach. I primarily draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy while integrating solution-focused, family systems, and behavioral strategies when helpful.

What you can expect from me

I view therapy as a partnership. I take the time to understand what you are experiencing, what matters to you, and what you would like to be different. Together, we can better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical strategies for navigating challenges, and work toward meaningful changes that fit your life. My goal is to provide a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly.
