Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I am honored to support and guide you on your journey toward becoming your best self. With 13 years of experience in diverse social service settings, I’ve provided case management and mental health support using CBT and DBT to help clients manage emotions, cope with stress, and improve relationships. My passion is working with women 18+ navigating single parenting, postpartum challenges, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to create a safe, supportive space for healing and growth. I earned my BSW and MSW from Western Kentucky University and am currently licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Georgia.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients through a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach. My style is empathetic, grounding, and direct in a supportive way. I specialize in helping women navigate life transitions, anxiety, stress, grief, and healing from relational or childhood trauma. In sessions, I blend evidence-based practices like CBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness to help clients understand patterns and build practical coping skills. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel empowered, aligned, and equipped to move forward with clarity.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, calm, and nonjudgmental space where you can share what brought you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll talk about your current challenges, your history, and what you’re hoping to change or feel differently about. I help you clarify your goals and identify the areas you want to focus on in our work together. I will also explain my therapeutic approach and what you can expect moving forward. Clients often leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clearer about their next steps. My goal is to create a foundation of safety, trust, and direction from day one.
