Great to meet you!

I’m a kind human :) I’m also a wife, mom, Christian, Black/Bajan, 1st generation American and college graduate. Professionally, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working primarily with young adults and adult professionals. My professional background includes working in residential treatment, college career & mental health counseling as well as employee assistance, perinatal/ reproductive mental health and Christian counseling.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is strengths based and person centered. I believe that therapy should be a sanctuary of presence to provide a safe space to help you not only process your thoughts and feelings, but make meaning of what you discover about yourself and others to make lasting change with the things you can and surrender the things you can’t.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to feel validated, seen, empowered and equipped to make the best decisions for themselves (with the information that they have at any given time), after sessions with me.
