Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Instructor, I invite you to bring your whole self to therapy. I specialize in working with women, young adults, members of blended families, and individuals with international life experiences. My approach is holistic and grounding—designed for anyone ready to build upon their strengths and achieve greater peace of mind.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic practice is relational, curious, and integrative. Built upon trauma-informed care and family systems theory, I partner with you to move from stuck to inspired. I don't just listen; I actively support you in navigating the heavy "mental load" of your many roles—whether as a professional, a partner, a step-parent, or a caregiver—and creating a life that is more aligned with your personal values.

I firmly believe that intentional lifestyle shifts—including physical movement, mindful eating and hydration, time in nature, and restorative sleep—are powerful clinical tools. By nourishing your nervous system, we can address the stress, anxiety, and burnout that often come with these roles, unlocking greater creativity, clearer thinking, and more energy.

What you can expect from me

I offer a non-judgmental, safe, and collaborative therapeutic space, treating all experiences with dignity and respect. I greet everyone with genuine kindness and am happy to answer questions about my therapeutic approach.

Our first meeting is designed to give you clarity and confidence. We focus on three key outcomes:

  1. Building the Alliance: You should leave feeling heard, understood, and comfortable. Trust and rapport are foundational to all progress.
  2. Articulating Clear Goals: As the expert on your life, we will partner to define success in concrete terms: what changes would you see, how would you feel, and what actions would you be taking?
  3. Contextualizing Your Experience: We'll start applying the Person-in-Environment framework to understand how your family, work, and social systems influence your well-being.

By the end, you'll have a clear sense of what therapy with me looks like and a preliminary roadmap for our partnership.
