Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LMHC) based in Brooklyn, New York. My experiences as a SWANA individual have helped to inform the way I practice therapy and relate to clients that share similar identities. As a SWANA therapist, I understand the importance and power in not having to explain your cultural background to your therapist - especially in our current political climate. I work primarily with young SWANA identifying adults who are navigating systemic injustices, LGBTQIA+ identities, the impacts of race-based and intergenerational traumas, and overall concerns related to depression, anxiety, self-worth, relationships and intimacy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to psychotherapy is collaborative and somatic-based, integrating my training in multiple modalities such as: Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and Brainspotting. During treatment, we will work together to understand and push back against negative self-talk, therefore creating space for change.

What you can expect from our first session

My mission as a therapist is to create an environment where all parts of you feel affirmed, accepted, and cared for. My goal is to meet you wherever you are in your healing journey and build upon the inherent skills that have already helped you get this far. Let's work together to find your path to healing and growth!
