Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Danielle, and I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 10 years. Too often, we can become overwhelmed by the pressures of life, and that is where therapy can help. It may be time to prioritize your own mental health, and coming here is an important first step. I’m proud of you for taking it.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, LGBTQIA+ concerns, relationship challenges, PTSD, stress, grief and loss, ADHD, anger, substance use, and major life transitions. My focus in treatment is helping you feel supported while we better understand what you are carrying and what you hope will change. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself, your relationship, or your family, I look forward to meeting you and helping you move toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy comes from a desire to support you through your journey and help you find the strength to see yourself as a priority. This process is for you to grow, and I want to be there to challenge you, encourage you, and help you recognize your potential.

I believe each person moves through their journey in their own way, and it is my job to meet you where you are. I draw from Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Solution Focused Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, Psychodynamic Therapy, Positive Psychology, Structural Family Therapy, Bowen Family Systems, and the Gottman Method. Together, we may work on managing anxiety or depression, processing trauma, improving communication, strengthening relationships, navigating identity concerns, building coping skills, and creating goals that feel realistic and meaningful.

What you can expect from me

In my opinion, the initial session is often the most important. It is where you have already taken the first step in your healing, and it gives us the chance to begin building trust and connection. We will work together to discuss what brought you to therapy, label your expectations, and set goals for future sessions.

My goal is to make the process feel comfortable, supportive, and collaborative. Ongoing therapy requires connection, and that connection starts in the initial session. As we continue working together, you can expect a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported while developing tools to manage stress, improve relationships, process difficult experiences, and move toward positive change.
