Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio Dominican University and a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.

While I draw from these approaches, I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I strive to bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion into our work while using techniques that best support your needs, goals, and experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences, gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, and identifying what you want your life to look like.

I believe much of life exists in the grey areas—in the space between extremes. Together, we can explore those complexities, find balance, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change. Along the way, we’ll build on your strengths and develop tools that support you in navigating life’s challenges with greater confidence and understanding.

Ultimately, I hope to help you create a life that feels fulfilling, authentic, and grounded in what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin creating a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to be yourself. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been going on in your life, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to know exactly where to start. We’ll meet you where you are and begin making sense of what feels difficult, what matters most to you, and where you would like to see change. Together, we’ll identify your goals and create a path forward that helps you feel more empowered and equipped to navigate the ups, downs, and in-between parts of life.
