Great to meet you!

Are you tired of therapists who just nod and say "and how does that make you feel?" You're in the right place. I'm a straight-talking, genuine, warm therapist who works with adults navigating ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, religious baggage, identity, gender, relationships, and the general chaos of being a person. I believe therapy should actually help, and maybe even make you laugh once in a while. If you're ready to do real work without taking yourself too seriously, we'll probably get along great.

My approach to therapy

My approach borrows from CBT, ACT, Gottman, and person-centered therapy, which basically means I have multiple ways to help you untangle the mess, and I'll pick what actually fits you rather than running everyone through the same script. Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Neither are people.

What you can expect from me

A lot of people show up to their first session not knowing what to say or where to start. I'll guide the conversation; we'll cover your background, what's bringing you in, and what you're hoping to get out of this. All you have to do is show up and be honest. Simple as that. (Okay, sometimes the honest part isn't simple. But you get it.)
