Great to meet you!

I'm Danielle, a licensed therapist experienced in providing individual counseling to teens and adults. Though I enjoy working with individuals across all populations, I have specific expertise and interest in working with athletes and the LGBTQ+ community. I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Sport and Performance Psychology from Boston University. I prioritize authenticity, warmth, and occasionally a bit of humor in my sessions, because I've found that laughter and growth aren't mutually exclusive.

My clients tend to be people who are hard on themselves — high performers, people navigating identity, or anyone who's been "doing fine" on the outside while quietly struggling underneath. I work across Massachusetts via telehealth, with appointments available Fridays and Saturdays.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside mindfulness-based and person-centered approaches. What does that look like in practice? Collaboration. We'll look at the patterns keeping you stuck and build tools you can actually use outside of session.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I'll want to understand what's bringing you in, what's been tried before, and what "better" actually looks like to you specifically. We'll get a feel for each other, and you'll leave with a clear sense of what working together could look like.

Most people tell me they were nervous before our first session and surprised by how quickly they felt comfortable. That's what I'm aiming for every time. If you're ready to stop pushing through alone, I'm ready to meet you there.
