Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, educator, researcher, and real person who believes mental health care should feel supportive, honest, and approachable. I’ve been a nurse since 2012 and a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2016, and I bring warmth, humor, and clinical expertise into my work. I provide medication management and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents 16+ navigating depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, panic symptoms, and life stressors. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered in your care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I take time to understand your story, your symptoms, your goals, and what has or has not worked for you in the past. I combine evidence-based medication management with psychotherapy skills to help you build insight, coping tools, and a treatment plan that feels realistic for your life. I want care to feel like a partnership, not a lecture.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, judgment-free space where we talk through what brought you in and what you are hoping will feel different. I’ll ask about your symptoms, history, current stressors, strengths, past treatment experiences, and goals for care. Together, we’ll discuss treatment options, including therapy, medication when appropriate, and next steps that feel manageable. My hope is that you leave the first visit feeling heard, respected, and clearer about the path forward.
