Great to meet you!

My journey to becoming a therapist wasn’t just a career choice—it was a calling. I know firsthand what it means to feel unseen, unheard, and weighed down by life’s challenges. That’s why I’m so passionate about creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly understood.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. Over the years, I’ve worked with people navigating emotional abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I’ve spent time in community mental health, crisis intervention, and private practice, helping individuals, couples, and groups reclaim their power and find clarity in their healing journeys. My approach is especially tailored for those who have felt silenced or stuck, unsure of how to move forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are—no masks, no judgment, just honesty and healing. My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and holistic, meaning I meet you where you are and help you move at a pace that feels right for you. Healing isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey, so I pull from different modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and somatic practices. I also integrate breathwork and grounding techniques to help regulate emotions and reconnect with your body.

At the core of my work is the belief that you already have the strength within you—sometimes, you just need the right support to uncover it. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical tools to help you break free from old patterns and step into your power.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that when you leave our sessions, you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with the tools you need to navigate life with more confidence and clarity. Whether we’re working through past trauma, setting boundaries, or rediscovering your sense of self, you’ll gain strategies to help you manage emotions, heal from pain, and build a life that feels aligned and fulfilling.

Healing is a process, and it’s not always easy—but you don’t have to do it alone. You deserve support, growth, and a life where you feel whole. And I’m here to help you get there.
