Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut. I have a BA in Psychology from the University of West Georgia, and an MA in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph. I have 8 years of experience, particularly working with anxiety disorders, women's issues, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut who believes that feeling comfortable, heard and understood is an essential part of the therapeutic process. I bring a very authentic energy to sessions and use a person-centered approach to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences openly. Together, we work to identify faulty perceptions, gently challenge them, and develop healthier coping skills and self-understanding. My goal is to empower and support my clients as they work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, a client can expect a gentle and supportive space in which they can share what they are seeking from therapy. I will clinically assess what I believe are the best first steps for the client, and we will collaborate on a treatment plan.
