Danielle Zelsnack

Danielle Zelsnack is a NYS licensed clinical social worker. She graduated with a B.A. in Criminology from SUNY Cortland and later obtained a Master of Social Work degree from Binghamton University. Danielle has interned at Crime Victims Assistance Center, Whitney Point Schools, and the Addiction Center of Broome County. She also worked abroad to assist with programming in the Young Women's Initiative at Malawi Children's Mission. Danielle has work experience as an outpatient rehab clinician and clinic supervisor in the substance use disorder treatment field.

Danielle has experience working with clients who experience substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, complex traumas, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bereavement, and family stressors. She serves adolescents, adults, and older adults. Danielle strives to tailor sessions to best meet an individual's unique needs utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy.

Trauma-informed care and creating a safe space are a priority. Danielle has special training in 3 evidence-based practices that are trauma-specific. Using these techniques, clients can begin to heal from their experiences, improve self-esteem, and feel empowered in who they are. Danielle's greatest joy is seeing the healing process unfold and she would be honored to go on this journey with you.
