Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to turn next—you’re not alone. I’m Danielle Zimmerman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I help people navigate life’s challenges with warmth, empathy, and practical strategies. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, relationship struggles, intergenerational religious divergence, or major life changes, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and have eight years of experience working in schools, community mental health, and my private practice. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals in building resilience, finding clarity, and creating meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, non-judgmental, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, somatic experiencing, and Internal Family Systems to design a plan that fits your unique needs, strengths, and goals. In our sessions, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back, strengthen your coping skills, and move toward the changes you want to see—at your pace.

What you can expect from me

What you can expect from our sessions is a supportive, respectful environment where your experiences are met with empathy and understanding. We’ll work toward building insight into your patterns, developing practical coping tools, and creating meaningful shifts in your daily life. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, understood, and equipped with strategies you can use right away—while steadily building greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you start—we can take it one step at a time, together.
