My name is Danika Ali, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have 25 years of experience in the mental health field, including 13 years providing counseling. I create a safe place where you can find the inner strength needed to heal from issues such as trauma, depression, and anxiety. At Healing Sanctuary you will learn the coping skills to help you find peace of mind.
I am very empowering, compassionate and view counseling as a partnership to work towards the goals you want to achieve. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but provide an eclectic approach with a mixture of art therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy and other coping skills along with self care techniques.
I create a judgement free, safe environment where you first understand your own feelings, symptoms and are able to set treatment goals that are attainable for you. It is important that we work at your pace and you not only get to discuss current issues, but also work through any issues from your past that you want to break free from. Although our relationship will be a partnership, I am also a guide in your journey towards healing and wholeness.
