Dannette Escobedo

I completed my Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver in 2012. My clinical experience includes individual, youth, and family counseling in private practice, inpatient and outpatient settings, emergency services, child protection services, and school-based programs. I have served in clinical supervision and management roles in school based mental health programs, walk-in crisis clinics, Director of Clinical Supervision and Internship in a outpatient group practice, and as Director of Admissions for a behavioral health hospital.

My areas of expertise include couples and family therapy, parent coaching, anxiety & depression, grief & loss, multicultural counseling, and healing childhood relationship trauma.

I offer all potential new clients a complimentary 20 minute virtual call to discuss your hopes for therapy and determine if we are a good fit in working together. I offer weekly and/or biweekly sessions for therapy, and offer in person or virtual sessions--- whichever works best for you! Length of therapy depends on your goals--- some clients want to dig deep and completely remodel their relationships, while others may want to gain skills in communication and conflict resolution. We will work together to determine your goals and regularly check in on your progress and growth.
