Great to meet you!

I have over 10 years of experience working in mental health across a variety of settings, including CPEP (psychiatric emergency), inpatient units, and outpatient services. I graduated cum laude from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and completed my psychiatry residency in my native hometown of Staten Island at Richmond University Medical Center, where I served as Chief Resident for two years.

Currently, I am completing fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry at NYU Langone Health, with rotations at Bellevue Hospital and the VA Medical Center. My training and experience allow me to provide comprehensive psychiatric care that integrates medication management with a supportive, individualized approach.

I am passionate about helping clients navigate challenges related to mood, anxiety, addiction, and life transitions, and I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where meaningful progress can be made.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I believe treatment works best when patients feel heard and involved in every step of the process. While I provide evidence-based medication management, I also incorporate supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle strategies to make treatment practical and effective. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel empowered to take steps toward lasting change and balance in your life.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you’ll have a safe, nonjudgmental space to share what’s on your mind. We’ll work together to set goals that matter to you and create practical strategies you can use in your daily life. My aim is to help you feel more balanced, resilient, and confident, so you can manage challenges and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
