Great to meet you!

My passion is helping individuals heal, grow, and excel. With firsthand experience as a former college football player and professional athlete overseas, I bring a deep understanding of the mental game required for success. As an African American provider, I'm especially committed to culturally responsive care and honored to support African American clients navigating unique pressures and strengths within our communities. Whether you're navigating sports, career challenges, or personal struggles, I work with people from all walks of life to help them achieve their fullest potential.

Life's challenges can feel overwhelming, but they also offer opportunities for growth and transformation. My experience both on the field and in therapy has shown me the power of resilience, confidence, and personal development. I specialize in building confidence and optimizing performance—not just in sports, but in life as a whole.

If you're ready to embrace a brighter, more fulfilling future—both on and off the field—I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way. Let’s connect and start creating the life you deserve today!

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, culturally responsive, and goal-oriented approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy including Narrative Exposure Therapy, and Solution-Focused work. With CBT, we identify patterns between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, then practice skills like thought reframing and problem solving to create steady relief. Through Narrative Therapy and NET, we map your story, place traumatic memories in a coherent timeline, and separate you from the problem so your strengths can lead the plot. In Solution-Focused sessions, we clarify what better looks like, highlight exceptions to the problem, and build small, repeatable steps that move you toward your preferred future. Sessions are practical and structured, but also warm and affirming, with clear take-home tools between visits. Ultimately, our work aims to help you feel safer in your body, clearer in your mind, and more confident in daily life.

What you can expect from me

We’ll start with a calm, welcoming check-in and a brief overview of how therapy works, including privacy and your goals. I’ll invite you to share what brought you in, what relief would look like, and any immediate concerns you want to tackle first. Together we’ll outline a simple plan for the next few sessions and I’ll offer a practical tool you can try between visits. You set the pace, and we pause anytime you need.
