Great to meet you!

I earned my Bachelor of Science at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 2004 and my Master of Social Work at Saint Louis University in 2006. I have worked in a variety of settings such as post-operative care, transitioning between hospital to home, and worked as a School Social Worker from 2006-2022. I am also an Ambassador with Alive and Well Communities in St. Louis as a trainer for Trauma Informed Care.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is to connect with my clients on a relational level. Feeling validated is an important component within the therapeutic relationship and contributes strongly to the success of the process. In addition, trust is essential and is built on a solid foundation when the client is able to make a deeper and relational connection with the clinician.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to receive focused care and attention to whole-person and system wellness. Each client will receive validation and empowerment which is essential while guiding the person through the therapeutic process. You will receive a safe and nonjudgemental space to begin your passage to mental and emotional regulation and clarity.
