Great to meet you!

Some of the people I work with have carried difficult experiences for so long that struggle has started to feel like just who they are. It doesn't have to stay that way. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and depression with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional or behavioral concerns. I bring particular experience with complex trauma and neurodivergent clients who may have felt dismissed or misunderstood in other settings. I use EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, and traumainformed approaches, woven together to fit you. My goal is a welcoming, culturally responsive space where you can feel genuinely heard. I'd love to connect.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely comfortable with the person sitting across from you. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I take time to understand not only what you're struggling with, but also your experiences, strengths, relationships, culture, and the things that matter most to you.

I tailor therapy to each client rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your needs, our work may include exploring patterns, developing practical coping skills, processing difficult or traumatic experiences, strengthening emotional regulation, or simply creating space to make sense of what you are going through. I want you to leave therapy feeling more empowered, more connected to yourself, and better equipped to navigate life outside of our sessions.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about you getting comfortable with me as much as it is about me understanding your story. I'll invite you to share what brought you in, and we'll talk about what you've been carrying, what's worked, and what hasn't. You don't need to have a clear answer to any of it, because figuring that out together is part of the work. I'll ask questions, listen carefully, and by the end we'll have a clearer picture of what matters most to you and where we might start. My hope is that you leave feeling lighter, not overwhelmed, and genuinely looking forward to coming back.
