Anxiety and Depression

Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over twenty years of experience. In my career, I have worked with many people who have sustained difficulty moving from one life role to another (e.g retirement, job or relationship losses, new caregivers). Life transitions can be extremely difficult to navigate, resulting in depression and anxiety.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a therapist, I view my role as a collaborative one, in which you are the expert. I will work with you to focus on goals, potential solutions, and future possibilities. I believe people have many internal and external resources for coping, healing and problem solving that can be put to work towards therapeutic change.

What you can expect from our first session

Depending on your unique needs I will draw upon an eclectic toolbox, including techniques of CBT, DBT, stress management, and solution-focused brief therapy.
