Great to meet you!
My transition to LMFT comes after years of working with addiction and recovery models as well as providing holistic clinics to treat anxiety disorders from a yoga therapy approach.
Drawing on a background in the performing arts, holistic healing practices, then depth psychology, I provide trauma-informed psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. My approach is grounded in the understanding that healing occurs within a collaborative therapeutic relationship that fosters safety, curiosity, and self-compassion.
I integrate evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions with a whole-person perspective, recognizing that emotional, relational, psychological, and somatic experiences are interconnected. From a depth psychology framework, therapy extends beyond symptom reduction to explore the unconscious patterns, life experiences, and internal strengths that influence present-day functioning. This process supports greater self-awareness, resilience, and lasting personal growth.
I often use practical metaphors to make complex psychological concepts more accessible. For example, I compare the therapeutic process to a plumbing system: whether there is a blockage in the main line or a leak in a single faucet, both indicate an interruption in the system’s healthy functioning. Together, we identify the source of the disruption, develop insight into the contributing factors, and implement effective strategies that restore balance and promote sustainable change.
My clinical work is guided by a strengths-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed lens. I am committed to helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and performance-related concerns by fostering insight, emotional regulation, and authentic connection. My goal is to help each client develop the tools necessary to achieve meaningful change while honoring the complexity and wholeness of their lived experience.
