Great to meet you!

At Assurance Psychiatric Services, I believe mental health care should be compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to the individual. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adolescents, adults, and older adults.

My approach is warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental. I take time to listen and understand not only your symptoms, but also how they are affecting your daily life, relationships, and overall well-being. Together, we develop a treatment plan that reflects your needs, concerns, and personal goals.

I have experience treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, insomnia, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, as well as individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care. Whether you are seeking treatment for the first time, looking for a second opinion, or need ongoing medication management, I am committed to helping you work toward greater stability, improved functioning, and a better quality of life.

In-person and telehealth appointments are available

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with listening and understanding the whole person—not simply treating a diagnosis or a list of symptoms.

I work closely with each patient to understand their concerns, experiences, goals, and preferences. Together, we develop an evidence-based treatment plan that may include medication management, education, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and comfortable discussing their mental health. My goal is to help each person better understand their treatment options, actively participate in decisions about their care, and work toward improved stability, functioning, and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free conversation focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to care. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, and the goals you would like to achieve through treatment.

I believe you should be an active participant in your care, so I encourage questions and open communication. We will review potential treatment options together, including the benefits and risks of medications when appropriate, and develop an individualized plan that fits your needs and preferences.

My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, informed, and clear about the next steps in your care.
