Great to meet you!

I am a licensed independent social worker with more than 25 years of experience. I've had the privilege of helping adults and older adults work through difficult seasons while rediscovering their strengths and resilience. I believe meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Every person's story is unique, so I take time to understand your experiences, values, and goals before creating a path forward together. Whether you're coping with trauma, managing stress, strengthening relationships, or working through women's issues, my goal is to provide a space where you can feel safe, understood, and empowered to move toward lasting healing.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and the belief that every client already possesses strengths that can become the foundation for growth. I tailor each session to your individual needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Attachment-Based therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen healthy coping skills, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful change both inside and outside of therapy. Whether we're addressing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, family concerns, relationship issues, or ongoing stress management, I strive to create a collaborative process where you feel empowered, supported, and actively involved in your progress every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I'll take time to understand what has brought you to therapy, what challenges you're facing, and what you hope to accomplish. You can expect a warm, open-minded, and empowering environment where your experiences are met with compassion and respect. Together, we'll identify realistic goals, celebrate progress along the way, and create a plan that helps you build confidence, heal from difficult experiences, and move toward the life you want to create.
