Great to meet you!

Raised in a military family, my formative years were spent living in diverse cultures across the globe. These experiences shaped my worldview, teaching me to appreciate the vibrant tapestry of human diversity and fostering an openness to new perspectives.

Throughout my life, balancing the roles of professional, spouse, and parent has been both a priority and a source of deep fulfillment. My career began in law, where I practiced as an attorney before training as a mediator and ultimately transitioning to the field of therapy. My academic journey and hands-on experience have afforded me the privilege of supporting individuals and families as they navigate conflict and strive for healing.

Driven by a passion for serving vulnerable populations, I became a certified Title 26 Guardian ad Litem and later a Forensic Child Specialist. This work revealed the necessity for a deeper understanding of child development, family systems, and mental health, inspiring me to return to graduate school in 2001 and earn a master's degree in clinical psychology.

From 2005 to 2024, I drew upon my dual expertise in law and psychology to offer a truly holistic service. Blending legal and clinical insights, I approached family conflict resolution through mediation, acted as a therapist for high-conflict parental situations, and guided estranged relationships toward reconciliation and forgiveness.

Having recently retired from conflict and mediation work, I now dedicate myself to helping individuals and families thrive through therapeutic support and coaching.

My approach to therapy

I use various techniques and processes to develop a personalized treatment plan for each client. I use different treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral, Positive Psychology, Structured Systemic therapy, and Life span integration, to develop a client-centered approach to my client's challenges. If you prefer a more dynamic therapeutic experience, I also offer walk-and-talk therapy sessions, where we can address your concerns while you experience the restorative benefits of nature. Ultimately, my aim is to walk alongside you—literally or figuratively—as you move toward a life of greater satisfaction, meaning, and well-being.

I am interested in your journey and the challenges you are facing. If you are ready to change dysfunctional communication and behaviors into those that make you feel better about who you are and how you want to be, let us begin.

I am truly invested in understanding your distinct path and the obstacles you face along the way. Whether you are navigating waves of uncontrolled anxiety, grappling with the fear of failure, or managing the complexities of parenting and the evolving dynamics of marriage after children, each of these experiences profoundly influences your daily reality, shapes your sense of self-worth, and colors your happiness.

What you can expect from me

Our work together will help you identify and transform dysfunctional communication patterns and behaviors into healthier, more affirming ways of relating—both to yourself and to others. By shedding beliefs or habits that no longer serve you, you can begin to craft a life that feels more aligned with your values and aspirations. Together, we will chart a path toward genuine change or acceptance, and, when necessary, letting go.

Depending on the mood challenges you are facing, I will help you develop skills to manage your anxiety, become more comfortable in social situations, and find your voice, empowering you to accomplish or become what's most important to you.
