Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with adults and couples. I have previously worked in substance abuse and mental health settings, and have been in private practice for the bulk of my career.
I believe that the most lasting and meaningful growth occurs in the context of our relationships. Therapy is, at its core, a relationship. Sessions are collaborative and will be based on each client's or couple's needs and goals. I utilize evidence based practices and hold a mind-body-spirit perspective.
I am glad to offer EMDR therapy as a way to address the effects of trauma. I am also trained in perinatal mental health and the Gottman Method for couples therapy.
You can expect a warm and accepting environment working with me. There may be tears, but there will also be laughter and levity during our sessions.
