Great to meet you!

I'm Darcy, a licensed therapist. Some people are handed an identity. Others have to build one. I help adults construct meaning, identity, and self-authorship when their origins didn't hand them a clear foundation to build on. This affects the quality of relationships, parenting, and how satisfied you feel at work. Living will feel more authentic when it comes from a confident Self awareness.

My approach to therapy

Together, we explore sources of anxiety, make sense of what drives your reactions, and become more aware of your strengths — the ones you may have forgotten you have.

I can show you how to notice unhelpful beliefs that drive choices with CBT tools and trauma-treatment interventions to increase coping and create strategies for meaningful change. This means understanding patterns and building a different relationship with your thoughts, feelings, and responses.

What you can expect from me

The first visit is to check for a good fit between us and to know you are safe and getting the whole picture of what you want to address.

My goal is to help you be more powerful over what happens to you — not by controlling everything, but by knowing yourself well enough to respond with intention.
