Great to meet you!

Not every struggle is visible, and sometimes the people who seem to be doing fine are fighting the hardest battles behind closed doors. You may be lying awake at night replaying painful memories, avoiding certain places because you're afraid of another panic attack, or turning to alcohol just to quiet your mind for a few hours. Maybe you're grieving someone you love, adjusting to life with a disability or serious health condition, or feeling angry, depressed, and exhausted by circumstances you never expected to face. I want to help you feel understood without judgment and find a way to move forward, even when life feels completely different from what you imagined.

My approach to therapy

I believe feeling better starts with understanding what you're going through, but real change happens when we begin doing things differently. We'll work on calming the thoughts that keep you awake, gradually facing situations you've started avoiding, understanding what triggers your anger or panic, and finding healthier ways to cope when stress or painful memories become overwhelming. If trauma has left you feeling unsafe or blaming yourself for what happened, we'll work through those experiences at a pace you can manage, while also challenging the beliefs that keep you stuck. My goal is to help you regain confidence, reconnect with things you've stopped enjoying, and develop practical ways to handle life's difficult moments.

What you can expect from me

You don't have to know where to begin or feel pressured to share the most painful parts of your story right away. We can start with what's been happening lately, whether that's waking up exhausted after another sleepless night, feeling your heart race in situations that never used to bother you, drinking more than you intended, or struggling to accept a loss or health diagnosis. I'll take time to understand how these experiences are affecting your relationships, daily routines, and ability to feel comfortable in your own life. Together, we'll identify what feels most urgent and begin creating a realistic path toward feeling more like yourself again.
