Great to meet you!

people who are navigating complex mental health challenges, substance use concerns, trauma, anxiety, and major life stressors. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Addiction Specialist (CADC-CAS), I have worked in hospitals, residential treatment programs, crisis settings, and community mental health agencies. Over the years, I have also served as a clinician, supervisor, and program director, which has given me a deep understanding of both the clinical and human sides of healing.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I incorporate experiential approaches such as Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Surf Therapy. These hands-on, movement-based therapies can help you access emotions, process trauma, reduce anxiety, and develop insight in ways that may feel different from sitting in an office. For many clients, these approaches create a powerful opportunity to heal through connection, movement, nature, and lived experience.

I work with individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you feel more empowered, and support you in creating meaningful change in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, grounded, and evidence-based. I believe therapy should feel supportive, honest, and meaningful; not cold or clinical. I work with clients to better understand their emotional patterns, regulate their nervous system, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves in a deeper way.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We will take time to talk about what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you would like to work toward. You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet — we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

I will ask questions to better understand your history, current stressors, strengths, relationships, coping patterns, and goals for therapy. This first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for whether my approach feels like a good fit.

My style is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be honest without judgment, explore what feels difficult, and begin identifying practical steps toward healing and change. Together, we will start building a plan that supports your needs, your values, and the life you want to create.
