Great to meet you!

Thank you for being here! My name is Darionne and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. Over the years, I’ve built experience working with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. My experience includes working in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs with adolescents, residential treatment with women with eating disorders, Applied Behavioral Analysis as a behavioral interventionist for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and co-occurring disorders, and working as a marriage and family therapist trainee at Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center with children with ADHD and other disruptive behavioral disorders as well as their parents.

My approach to therapy

I use aspects of family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused approaches to support clients in meeting individual goals. I like to incorporate dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) as well as mindfulness in my work to support in separating thoughts from the self. We are not our thoughts!

What you can expect from me

In the first session, you can expect us to take time to get to know each other and explore your goals for therapy. No pressure! I’m here to support you. We will discuss what you’d like to focus on in our work together and your preferred length of treatment.
