Great to meet you!

When you’re carrying the weight of depression or the constant hum of anxiety, the last thing you need is a clinical lecture. You need a place where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment or the pressure to perform. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the heart of the work. Over my 23 years in practice, I’ve focused on creating a space that is first and foremost human, built on a foundation of genuine connection and trust.

My approach to therapy

I start with the belief that you already have innate strengths within you—even if they feel a bit buried right now. My job is to help you uncover and use those resources to navigate the harder chapters of life. While I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and often find CBT helpful for untangling how our thoughts affect our moods, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person is different, so I draw from various ways of working to make sure our sessions feel right for you and align with what you actually want to achieve.

What you can expect from me

Our journey together usually begins with a free 15-minute consultation. This is a low-pressure way for us to connect, see if we’re a good match, and make sure you feel comfortable with my approach.

If we decide to move forward, our first full session is a dedicated time for us to create your initial intake and treatment plan. I like to think of this as building a roadmap together; we will sit down and identify the goals that matter most to you and the best ways to reach them. This collaborative start ensures that you feel supported, heard, and clear about the path we are taking toward your healing.
