Great to meet you!

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or not showing up the way you'd like in your relationships, your work, or your daily life, you're not alone, and you don't have to keep pushing through it by yourself. I'm Darla, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience working with adults in private practice, community mental health, and school settings. I work with people navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, infertility, chronic stress, and the relationship and family challenges that tend to quietly shape everything else. Clients often describe me as someone who helps them finally see the patterns that have been running in the background.

My approach to therapy

Our work is built around where you actually are, not a preset plan. For some people, that means developing practical tools for managing anxiety or difficult relationships right now. For others, it means making sense of something from the past that is still shaping the present. Often it's both. I have a particular focus on grief and infertility, two experiences that carry an invisible weight that the people around you may not fully understand. I work well with people who are ready to look honestly at what's going on, even when that's uncomfortable, and who want a therapist who will stay curious and direct alongside them.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not an interview. We'll talk about what brought you in and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. You can share as much or as little as you're ready for. Finding the right fit matters to me, so if you're wondering whether I'm the right person for you, just ask. That's a completely reasonable thing to want to know. When you're ready, reach out.
