Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. My dual certification allows me to approach care holistically — understanding both the psychiatric and medical factors that impact overall wellness.

I have experience working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, behavioral concerns, and severe mental illness. I believe mental health care should be collaborative, respectful, and individualized. Every client’s story is unique, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. My goal is not only symptom relief but helping you build stability, insight, and long-term wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach is patient-centered and collaborative. I view treatment as a partnership where we work together to develop a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle.

With training as both a PMHNP and FNP, I consider the full picture including medical conditions, medications, lifestyle, and psychosocial factors when developing treatment plans. I utilize evidence-based practices and, when appropriate, medication management combined with supportive therapy techniques.

I prioritize education so you understand your diagnosis, treatment options, and what to expect. I believe in starting low and titrating thoughtfully when prescribing medications, while closely monitoring response to ensure safety and effectiveness. Above all, I aim to create a therapeutic environment built on trust, respect, and open communication.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This includes discussing your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals.

You can expect a supportive, structured, and thorough conversation where you have space to share your experiences without judgment. By the end of the session, we will typically discuss impressions, review treatment options, and develop a plan tailored to your needs.

My goal for the first visit is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and confident about the next steps in your care.
