Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and compassionate mental health professional dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. I have experience working with adolescents and adults who have had a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, stress, and emotional regulation challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and collaborative. I believe that each person’s experiences are unique, and therapy should be tailored to their individual needs, strengths, and goals. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based interventions, and other therapeutic techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts, manage emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a foundation of trust, safety, and collaboration. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself. During our first session, we will discuss what brought you to therapy, what you would like to change, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. We may explore your current concerns, personal history, strengths, relationships, and the challenges that may be affecting your emotional well-being. We will also discuss confidentiality, expectations for therapy, and how we can work together to establish goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

You do not have to have everything figured out before your first appointment. My role is not to judge you or tell you what you “should” do. Instead, I will work collaboratively with you to understand your experiences and identify strategies that can help you move forward.
