Great to meet you!

My name is Darlene Ormston and I am licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor. I have worked as a Counselor for over twenty five years. My career has evolved over that time. I have had the opportunity to work with populations from diverse backgrounds including people with anxiety, depression, trauma, family stressors and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

Each person has a their own unique story and a story that needs to be heard and accepted. I believe it is important to respect the life journey of each individual and meet the client where they are at in the journey.

Through the use of a person centered approach, the client will be provided the opportunity to develop rapport with the clinician. As the sessions progress, we will utilize effective, evidence based treatment modalities that fit the client's unique treatment needs.

What you can expect from me

I am inspired by a client that takes the initial step to engage in therapy and allow themself to be vulnerable to change.

I will provide a therapeutic environment that is emotionally safe and free from judgement so that the individual can explore emotions and behaviors that are negatively impacting their life.

The client and I will develop treatment goals based upon the client's unique needs and create a pathway to success.
