Great to meet you!

My name is Darlly M. Dyson, I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background including, end-of-life planning, chronic illness management, depression, anxiety, adjusting to life transitions, and caregiver support.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I create a nonjudgmental inviting atmosphere. I have a positive and holistic approach to therapy. I think it is important to find balance in your life and it starts with the acceptance of transitional periods in life and good self-care. I like a person-centered approach meaning you are in charge, we go at your speed and things should always be comfortable for you during therapy. Although comfortable, your thoughts will be challenged to help achieve personal growth and acceptance.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients typically tell me how much better they feel after one session. Rapport building initially while I hear your story! I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable. I believe in a trust-based relationship and going at your pace as you are comfortable. My clients feel like they have gained a sense of direction and relief when they work with me. To me, this is the way it should be.
