Daron Campbell

As a counselor I am passionate about addiction and/or mental health counseling. I am also a natural empath and a good listener. I create a warm, nonjudgmental space for you to share and process your current challenges whether they are addiction related, anxiety, depression. or other mental health concerns. I have prior experience having worked in two inpatient treatment centers for addiction and mental health, a methadone clinic, and private practices. I am open to hearing your unique story and how I can begin working with you towards a better quality of life. Regarding my educational background, I have two Masters of Arts degrees: Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Amberton University in Garland TX. My undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy.

I am open and collaborative with my patients. I believe that the patient is the best authority on their life and my professional function is to assist them in their own self-discovery and goal attainment. I utilize different treatment modalities, CBT/DBT, Solution focused, active and reflective listening. and upon request Christian Counseling.

This counselor realizes that with addiction and/or mental health challenges it may be difficult to talk to a professional you just met. However, I offer a warm, non-judgemental, safe space for you to process your thoughts and emotions. During your first session I listen and gather information in order to better serve you as your counselor. In follow up sessions we work collaboratively towards your chosen treatment and/or recovery goals.
