It can be overwhelming searching for a therapist. That's why I’m aware that the foundation and the first step of any healing process is the creation of a safe, attuned, and authentically caring space for my patients. I work well with people who struggle with overwhelming feelings, such as shame, low self-worth, depression, anxiety, hypersensitivity, emotional dysregulation, and/or have difficulty in their relationships or with intimacy.

My approach is holistic. I combine both talk and body therapy by integrating a somatically oriented psychodynamic psychotherapy with techniques like EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. I work collaboratively with my patients to determine what modalities are right for their treatment goals.

I have extensive experience with patients managing complex trauma. Many deal with painful symptoms that they struggle to understand. Together I work with you to reduce and make sense of your symptoms, so you can become stronger in broken places.

During our initial sessions, we get to know each other to determine a right therapeutic fit and build a sense of safety/ stabilization. This creates a foundation for symptom reduction and also a space to explore perhaps the meaning behind your symptoms.
