Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. Currently, I serve as Clinical Manager for Outpatient Services for a local health network, where I lead a dedicated team across multiple locations to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

My journey began with a passion for understanding human behavior, which led me to earn a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Widener University and a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University. Over the years, I’ve specialized in treating co-occurring disorders, providing trauma-informed care, and supporting clients through individual, family, and group therapy. I also take pride in mentoring clinicians and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment for professional growth.

Beyond my clinical work, I’m committed to advancing behavioral health education and resilience initiatives. I’ve completed advanced training in clinical supervision, leadership development, and trauma care, and I actively contribute to committees focused on workforce well-being and behavioral health education.

When I’m not working, I enjoy connecting with my community and staying active. My goal, both personally and professionally, is to create spaces where people feel heard, supported, and empowered to thrive.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I believe that therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and truly heard. Together, we identify goals and create a plan that feels realistic and empowering.

I draw on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and motivational interviewing, while always considering the whole person, not just the symptoms. Whether working with individuals, families, or groups, I strive to create a supportive environment where clients can build resilience, develop coping skills, and move toward lasting change.

I also understand that life can be complex, so I work flexibly by meeting clients where they are and adjusting strategies as their needs evolve. My ultimate goal is to help people feel more confident, connected, and in control of their lives.

What you can expect from me

When working with clients, my primary goal is to help them feel empowered, understood, and equipped with practical tools for lasting change. Together, we set clear, achievable goals. Whether that’s reducing anxiety, improving relationships, building coping skills, or maintaining recovery from substance use. I believe progress happens when goals are realistic and aligned with what truly matters to each person.

The outcomes I strive for include improved emotional well-being, stronger resilience, and a greater sense of control over life’s challenges. For clients in recovery or managing co-occurring disorders, this often means developing healthy routines, strengthening support systems, and building confidence in their ability to thrive.

I create an environment that is safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. Clients can expect a space where they feel respected and heard, where their strengths are recognized, and where challenges are approached with compassion and practical strategies. My role is to guide, support, and encourage, not to dictate, so that every client feels like an active partner in their own growth.
