I have been in the health profession for over 50 years. I started a nursing career in 1973 and after graduating from the California Graduate Insitute I West Los Angeles with a PhD I started my psychology career in 2004 and received my license in 2009. Follow this I pursued my certification as a sex addiction therapist.
As an interactive therapist I use an integration of complimentary approaches, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. My primary area of specialty is in the area of compulsive sexual behaviors commonly referred to as "sex addiction". As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) , I incorporated the Patrick Carns 30 task model and provide service to Individuals, partners of sex addicts, couples facing sex addiction behaviors as well as group therapy for sex addicts.
The overall goal for clients is to be educated on the presenting problems and their potential origin or etiology, develop a plan of action and apply recovery principles to multiple areas of life.
