Great to meet you!
Great to meet you! I'm Daryl Anne Ross, a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 28 years of nursing experience. I work with children ages 11 and up and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, substance use and addiction, sleep disorders, family issues, panic disorders, grief or loss, women's issues, and PTSD. Originally from New York, I have worked in mental health since 2008 and have spent the past 9 years as a psychiatric NP in diverse settings such as inpatient crisis units, treatment facilities, and private practice, including time at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan.
I believe that a person's ability to heal and thrive begins with a trusting relationship with their healthcare provider. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized, recognizing that every person's mental health journey is unique. I work closely with my patients to understand their concerns, goals, and life circumstances before developing a treatment plan that fits their needs.
My style is collaborative, direct, energetic, and warm. I'm passionate about helping patients thrive through a combination of counseling, medication management, and healthy lifestyle practices. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, crocheting, and volunteering with animal charities. These activities remind me of the importance of care, patience, and giving back, values I bring into my work with every patient.
