Great to meet you!

Hello

It is a pleasure to meet you. I bring over 25 years of professional experience to my practice. I am licensed and board certified for clinical practice, supervision, and health care leadership within the state of Texas.

My professional focus lies in the areas of psychopathology, psychometrics, and behavioral health. They serve as a foundation for my practice and guide my approach to providing effective support and treatment.

My primary objective is to address your concerns and ensure that you receive quality treatment. I am dedicated to offering care that is responsive to your individual needs and designed to promote your well-being.

My approach to therapy

In my clinical practice, I strongly believe in the philosophy of "taking it one step at a time." This approach recognizes that every client’s journey is unique and that progress happens gradually, not instantly. Clinical treatment is fundamentally a process, not a single event. My commitment is to support clients at their current stage and help them move forward at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

Not all issues are the same—some are straightforward, while others are deeply complex and layered. I acknowledge that certain concerns may require more time, patience, and exploration than others. My approach is flexible and adaptive, allowing me to respond appropriately to each client’s unique situation. This means we may spend more time addressing particular challenges or revisit topics as needed, always honoring the client’s pace and readiness for change.

By viewing treatment as a process, I emphasize growth and resilience rather than quick fixes. Each session builds upon the last, creating a foundation for lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The initial meeting serves as a foundational step in the overall process. Its primary purpose is to establish rapport to make comfortable and open environment for communication.

During this meeting, collateral data is gathered to provide a comprehensive understanding of the client's situation.

Time is also allocated for conducting evidence-based assessments. These assessments are crucial for developing diagnostic impressions and understanding the unique needs of the client.

Finally, the meeting is used to create best practice goals. These goals are tailored to the specific needs of each client and to ensure an effective and targeted approach moving forward.
