Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor, I deeply admire anyone ready for change and willing to do the work. Stepping into therapy takes courage. I applaud you for taking that step. I have been in the mental health field for 5 years. However, in the past 2 years, I have focused on individual counseling, focusing on women ages 18-99 and children ages 13-17 who struggle with anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach is eclectic, which simply means I tailor our sessions to what fits you best. I often begin with a person-centered approach, which simply means I see you as a whole person, not a list of problems. I believe in your potential, your strengths, and your ability to grow. My role is to walk alongside you with warmth, empathy, and zero judgment as you discover more about yourself and what you’re capable of.

What you can expect from me

You can expect our first session to feel like a genuine conversation, comfortable, open, and centered on you. I like to begin by giving you space to share what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and anything else you feel ready to talk about as we get to know each other. People often tell me I’m easy to talk to, relatable, and truly nonjudgmental, and I work hard to make sure you feel that from the very beginning. My goal is to support you in discovering your best possible self, moving at a pace that feels right for you, and honoring your unique journey every step of the way.
